The First Gift of Christmas

During the month of November several residents worked on folding, rolling and twisting hand towels into teddy bears. The bears are decorated with a ribbon and a special hand written note. The note was written by one of Heritage of Emerson own residents.

The note reads

“He’s not at all like other bears,

He comes to you with love and prayers.

Especially for you to see

How much you mean to God and me!”

The bears will be gifted to the volunteers who have touched our lives throughout the year.  Pictured are residents Marcy B. and Delores D. gifting the bear to Alice K. , pianist.
