Heritage of Emerson Receives Recognition In Local Parades

Team members put their heads, hearts and hands to good use in creating the float. Launching the thought process, they fired off with the National Nursing Home Week theme for this year “It’s a small world with a big heart.” The float featured a heart with the center cut out and a globe spinning on its axis in the middle. Red and silver shimmering toile and colorful metallic skirting adorned the float. Banners announced the theme and Heritage of Emerson’s logo along with a message on the back indicating Heritage celebrating 42 years of caring for seniors. Team members wore coordinating t-shirts and handed out wand streamers, pens and mini flashlights. Residents also participated by riding along in the parades. The first of four parades that Heritage plans to attend over the summer earned them Best Design in Emerson Tri County Days Parade. The second parade was held in Allen celebrating Allen, Nebraska’s Q125. There, Heritage of Emerson received third place overall.
