Safety is as simple as ABC!
ALWAYS BEING CAREFUL
The Heritage of Emerson team takes working safe very seriously. Working safe is promoted continually among team members. Heritage of Emerson recently celebrated another yearly milestone by reaching the five year mark early in December.
A celebration to honor Heritage of Emerson was held on Thursday January 28th. This celebration included a steak and chicken bar-be-que hosted by Vetter Senior Living. Team members showed up to the celebration proudly wearing their red “safety is as simple as ABC” t-shirts. The t-shirts were part of a contest held last fall. Team members were asked to submit their slogan for the t-shirt the team then voted on their favorite.
The party kicked off with a plaque presentation, presented by CEO and owner Jack Vetter to commemorate the achievement and all employees were awarded pins for their personal commitment to the goal and for their daily efforts to keep themselves and their teammates free from injury. Vetter Senior Living recognizes that Heritage of Emerson recently celebrated 5 years injury free! Laboring for one year without injury is a significant achievement. It takes great teamwork and allows us to provide the world class resident care for which our facilities are known.
